TELE TOP reporter goes to prison voluntarily – TOP ONLINE
In the TELE TOP article, he explains how the TELE TOP reporter is doing shortly before his arrest and how he is preparing:
Would you voluntarily go to prison and be locked up there for 48 hours? A TELE TOP reporter does not want to miss out on this adventure and is arrested for two days. Together with other volunteer test subjects, he will experience first-hand what it means to sit behind Swedish curtains in the new Zurich West prison.
As part of a test operation, the Zurich Department of Justice is enabling volunteers to experience everyday prison life from the inside in the new Zurich Police and Justice Center (PJZ). The police detention, which takes place immediately after an arrest, is tested. During the provisional arrest, the prosecuting authorities carry out the necessary investigations in order to substantiate or invalidate the suspicion and the other reasons for detention. If the reasons for detention are not substantiated, the provisionally arrested person will be released. Otherwise, pre-trial detention will be requested.
On Friday morning, the TELE TOP reporter will go behind bars for two days. In the week of April 4th he will then report on his experiences in the program TOP FOKUS.
