New carriers will also be added to the airport, such as Air Montenegro, Norwegian Flyr, Saudi Arabian flynas, Icelandic Play or Turkish SunExpress. Airlines with Smartwings Group, Ryanair, Eurowings, Wizz Air and easyJet will offer the most connections.
The airport is also planning support of inbound and outbound tourism through our own marketing activities. He is planning these in the USA, Great Britain, France, Italy, Spain and recently also in Saudi Arabia.
At the same time, the airport recalls that anti-coronavirus measures continue to apply in a number of countries. Passengers should find out the conditions for the country before departure.
Prague Airport this year expects a gradual recovery of traffic, especially in summer. Last year, it handled almost 4.4 million passengers. That was only a maximum of a fifth more, still well below pre-coronavirus pandemic levels, when in 2019 the airport handled over 7.8 million passengers. This year, the airport expects the number of passengers to be around 8.6 million for the whole year.
