Fabio Quartararo is back
The reigning French MotoGP world champion Fabio Quartararo achieves a nice close to the championship thanks to his podium at the Indonesian Grand Prix. The weekend was rich in spectacular twists.
The season started very badly for the French reigning world champion Fabio Quartararo with a ninth place in the inaugural round and a low level of competitiveness of his version. But after a much more favorable Indonesian Grand Prix finishing in second position, he found himself third in the championship, three points behind leader Enea Bastianini thanks to a solid race.
Starting from pole position, Fabio had a wise race in complicated metrological conditions, which failed to lead to the cancellation of the event. However, he was unable to catch up with Miguel Oliveira who dominated the race. Note the spectacular fall of Marc Marquez during the warm-up before the race, who had to forfeit following this accident.
Johann Zarco also returns
In third place in the Grand Prix, the other Frenchman Johann Zarco also replaced himself in fifth place in the drivers’ classification. The French have probably not said their last word this season…
