The mayor of Prague, Zdeněk Hřib (Pirates), became infected with coronavirus. He stated on the social network that the illness has not yet manifested itself significantly, so he intends to work from home isolation. The capital is currently dealing mainly with an unprecedented refugee crisis.
The mushroom informed about the positive test for covid-19 on twitter profile. “In the end, it also caught up with me, although so far without any significant symptoms,” he wrote.

The mayor reminded that the capital is facing an unprecedented refugee crisis due to the war in Ukraine, so he does not want to leave the labor process. “Therefore, I will try my best to deal with home insulation online,” he added.
The Prague Assistance Center at the Congress Center on Friday checked in over 2100 refugees. More than three hundred of them were provided with accommodation, the other two places were transported by bus to other regions. Prague has already handled almost 46,000 Ukrainian refugees.
