Hundreds of people demonstrate in Amsterdam against racism and discrimination
“Many promises have been made that we need to tackle racism,” one said. “Now is the time to implement anti-racism policies from their election manifestos within municipalities.”
March 21 is the International Day Against Racism and Discrimination. Every year around this time, therefore, the national Demonstration Against Racism, by the Committee on 21 March, takes place.

The tour started on Dam Square and ended at the monument De Dokwerker on Jonas Daniël Meijerplein. The organization saw several different colors, nationalities and refugees, including Afghans, represented.
According to the words, the fight against discrimination has so far only been promised on paper, and not yet put into practice. For example, according to him, the appointment of a National Coordinator against Discrimination and Racism last October is not enough. “It is unclear what to do because of unclear.” That is why the activists instruct politicians to take concrete measures, such as against discrimination in the labor market and in education.
