HSC Hannover are missing up to nine players against FC St. Pauli II
For everyone who is there with the HSC Here is a brief look at the schedule for the relegation round of the Regionalliga Nord: After the home game on Saturday (3 p.m.) against FC St. Pauli II, the team has to go away four times in a row, one after the other in Norderstedt, Lübeck, Heide and Altona. The HSC can only be seen again on May 1st on Constantinstrasse against Drochtersen/Assel. If you want to keep your fingers crossed for relegation live on site, you should set off today.
Remaining hope for Ilic and Hofart
Not least because of the personal situation, the 17-year-old Ayhan Cankor, since the G youth at HSC, most recently made his debut in the 4th division at 0:3 in Drochtersen. On the other hand, Igor Antunović, Tom Kinitz, Fabian Vy-Ngoc, Max Kummer and Sascha Algermissen are still missing against the Kiezkicker, who have been unbeaten for five games. Martin Repeated and Gürkan Öney, who has been suspended, are now also absent. In the case of Marko Ilic and Jovan Hoffart, an assignment is decided at short notice.
“FC St. Pauli’s U23s are a team that wants to play football,” says HSC coach Vural Tasdelen. That can only be the motto.”
96 reserve fills roster with talent
Hanover 96II meanwhile plays in the promotion round, but actually has nothing to do with the promotion. However, that doesn’t mean “that we don’t have any goals,” emphasizes coach Lars Fuchs: “It’s about showing up for the lads, proving ourselves, and for us as a team it’s about development. And of course we also want to win games.”
Opponent today (1 p.m., Eilenriedestadion): Promotion aspirant Weiche Flensburg. “They play very physically, so we have to fight back and accept the duels,” demands Fuchs. Except that the 96 squad is tight as always: A Corona case, and regular striker Mick Gudra travels to Gelsenkirchen with the professionals – makes eleven field players fit for use from the regular squad. Fuchs fills up again with U19 talents, but praises: “They did well against Kiel last week.”
