The situation in Prague is critical, the metropolis no longer has enough free capacity for visitors, so they are looking for places where they can. Charles University also offered free beds – one of the blocks in the Na Větrníku dormitory has been waiting for reconstruction for a long time, so there were almost 400 vacancies left. Now Ukrainians are starting to move there.

The supplies are stored behind the door with the inscription study room on the dormitory red cross. “There is durable food, milk, diapers for children, baby food, feminine hygiene, plenty of water and incoming sandwiches,” shows one of Lucie’s volunteers. Charles University plans to accommodate refugees for a longer period of time in the administrative premises of the Hostivař dormitory. However, due to the temporary conditions there, more material assistance will be needed there, including refrigerators or furniture.
