The circus of Vienna returns to the land of Siena with a collection for Ukraine. The cardinal at the show
He left Siena at the beginning of the year to move to other areas of Tuscany and today the Circus of Vienna returns to our province, in Colle val d’Elsa, also to give back the good it received from our land.
The shows of the Circus of Vienna will go on until Sunday 20 March but the Caveagna family, who we learned about during the pandemic – were in fact blocked in Siena, Isola d’Arbia, for months together with their animals and were helped by the Sienese solidarity network – has decided to donate the proceeds of the evening of Friday 18 March to charity.
Given the events, the thought of the circus family went to war in Ukraine and that is why it was decided to donate the proceeds of the show on Friday 18 to the diocesan Caritas and to the project followed with the Don Orione association, which brings aid in Ukraine.
The entire proceeds will be delivered to Cardinal Augusto Paolo Lojudice, who will be present at the Vienna circus show. “For the Caveagna family – explains the young artist of the lineage, Jason – it is a question of being able to give back some of that good and that support that we had from all over Siena, both associations and individuals, when the months of the lockdown they blocked us here with our animals. We will never forget the affection you have given us and we want to help the Ukrainian people who today really need each of us ”.
