The city has therefore created contact lines and clear information on how to proceed in this matter and who to contact in the individual city districts.
“At the moment, we are already counting on a longer-term scenario, during which this year we will try to educate the children in terms of language and create a good background so that they can enter Prague schools and integrate into the Czech majority. It is already evident that families with children will not return home to Ukraine in the near future, so we need to create the conditions for them to adapt to the new country, “said the councilor. m of Prague for education Vít Šimral.
The Municipal Department of Education, Youth and Sports has created an information leaflet with an overview of the most frequently asked questions and information on the placement of Ukrainian children in kindergartens, primary and secondary schools in the capital city of Prague. The leaflet is available in both Czech and Ukrainian, and is distributed in assistance centers, schools and city districts. If you have any questions, you can contact the contact telephone line: +420 236 005 901 or use the e-mail: [email protected].
