Protest against diesel prices: truckers blocked key moves for Prague and its surroundings
Columns in various parts of the country, from the border areas to Prague, on Monday morning showed a protest from truck operators against high diesel prices. The truckers announced that they would block some major moves for half an hour for the tenth time to draw attention to the new situation, which they perceived as a disaster for its industry (as well as the prices of virtually all goods, including basic foodstuffs). However, he also disagrees with the extreme increase in gasoline prices, which is painful even for family riding.

Somewhere the drivers’ protest, often marked with a warning vest on the mirror, lasted a few minutes. Elsewhere, the time before the cars drove into the traffic jam lasted practically another half hour.
“Strike, delay; In Kbelská, five lorries intentionally block traffic in Prague. ”Thus, the Traffic Information Center of the Operations Department of the Police Presidium of the Czech Republic drew attention to one of the protest sites in the northern part of the metropolis, where drivers arriving on the Prague ring road or D10 or D11 motorways. The restrictions on access via the South Link to the Barrandov Bridge were also more noticeable in the capital.

Carriers do not rule out that protests could be repeated if the situation does not change. They make no secret of the idea that, according to them, the government should intervene more forcefully.
