At the meeting, Central Bohemian councilors approved an agreement on cooperation with the municipalities of Zeleneč on the P + R Zeleneč-Mstětice parking house project. It is intended to increase the attractiveness of the transfer point. After approval by the council, design work will begin.
The Central Bohemian Region is interested in concluding a cooperation agreement with the municipalities of Zeleneč, as both parties share a common interest in the construction of a P + R parking house at the Mstětice railway station. “The new parking house will contribute not only to increasing the attractiveness of the transfer point, but also to improving the traffic situation in the Central Bohemian Region in the direction of the capital city of Prague and back,” explains Petr Borecký, Councilor for Public Transport.
It can be built: the metro line D from Pankrác to Písnice will eventually be created
The region, as the investor of the project, undertakes in the contract to financially and organizationally ensure the processing of pre-project and project preparation from its budget, including the assignment and execution of constructions. It will also ensure the administration, operation and maintenance of the parking house. On the other hand, the municipality of Zeleneč derives an obligation from the contract concerning the municipal land. “We have agreed with the municipality of Zeleneč that, in order to implement a parking house, it is donating to the Central Bohemian Region a plot of land on which we are planning a P + R parking house at most and which is currently owned by the municipality,” adds Borecký.
The construction is to take place in coordination with the construction of a railway overpass over line No. 232 and the transfer of road No. II / 101.
The transformation of the Vršovice locality around Ďolíček is one step closer. It has specific outlines
In the Central Bohemian Region, new parking spaces are being created at the station. They should help to ensure that people do not commute to Prague all the way by car, but partly by train, and do not continue to increase traffic in the capital.
