The Streamers have announced a third and final concert at the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam. The first two sold out within an hour.
Organizer Machiel Hofman announces that these three concerts will remain. “This third show is the last in the series at the Olympic Stadium this year,” he says. “The permits, but also the busy schedules of the band members make it impossible to add more shows to The Streamers’ Holland Tour.”
Guus Meeuwis, as founder of the super formation, says that he is “completely overwhelmed” by the high demand for cards. “Of course we have secretly talked about a possible extra show, but we have not really discussed it yet. Fortunately, everyone has been able to free up their agenda, it’s fantastic that we can celebrate almost 100,000 people soon.”
Ticket sales for the third concert, on September 18, have started immediately. In the other concerts, this concert does not take place in the evening but in the afternoon. In this way, the band wants to meet the high demand for cards for families.
