These are places with representatives of various authorities and institutions, where incoming administrators can deal with basic matters related to residence, health care – and even future employment in the Czech Republic.
As in previous days, the busiest KACPU, which the Central Bohemian Region and the capital jointly operate in the Prague Congress Center, was the busiest. This time, however, the influx of refugees did not exceed 3.5 thousand people, not even the three thousand: on Thursday, 2872 people passed through it; 375 of them also needed accommodation.
On Thursday, 188 Ukrainian citizens transported buses and a train from Prague to another KACPU. A joint Prague-Central Bohemian center since the beginning of its operation, which originally began in the building of the Municipal Library in Prague (but soon it turned out that the premises of the onslaught of visitors were not enough) for more than 25 refugees.
Sleeping in the gyms is being prepared for refugees. Will there be camps?
The number of visitors to the three assistance centers operating in the Central Bohemian regions is counted in the hundreds on Thursday. There were 480 of them in Kutná Hora, 361 in Mladá Boleslav and 293 in Příbram. These three KACPUs together provided accommodation for 112 people on Thursday.
“A total of 7924 people have passed through these centers since their opening,” Zuzana Žídková from the regional office reminded after Friday’s meeting of the Central Bohemian crisis staff. On Thursday – and it seems that on Friday as well – the onslaught against the previous days eased here as well.
