Frontal collision of two trains in Prague: one person was injured, a helicopter flew to the scene
/ PHOTO GALLERY / The accident of two freight trains in Prague required one slightly injured person. The trains collided head-on, on Thursday around ten o’clock in the morning on Černý Most near Skorkovská Street. A rescue helicopter also intervened on the spot.

“Once we provide pre-medical care and some of our units have been reduced and are returning to base,” firefighters said on Twitter.

The Railway Administration also intervened in the accident. According to her, one of the locomotives was derailed. “The traffic is stopped until further notice,” she said on her twitter.
Between the Prague-Vysočany and Horní Počernice stations, two freight trains collided and one of the locomotives was derailed. IRS units and railway firefighters intervene on the spot. The operation is stopped until further notice. We will update the details.

“We took care of a 56-year-old man on the spot, who we will then transport by land to the Bulovka University Hospital with back pain. The other three people were uninjured, they did not need our help,” Prague rescuers wrote on Twitter.
