Prask magistrt gradually invested 880 million crowns in the development of a public lighting lamp with charges for electric cars. In the next six years, thousands of conquered cities in lamps could emerge. During their construction, the reconstruction will be publicly lit. The master decided on that last year (here).
The master collaborates with Praska energetika (PRE) on the job offer. Through this project, we will receive a lamp burst during the year. Electromobility is now the preferred option in the European car market and it is necessary to prepare the best infrastructure in the public space. I don’t want to use my own gar, said Jan Chabr (TOP 09).
Due to the installation of chargers, new cables are needed for the lamps, which have the capacity to store energy for both the lamp and the charger. The city therefore cooperates with PRE and at the same time the cable for charging is inserted into the sidewalk at the same time. 654 lamps will be replaced this year and 189 of them will be able to connect chargers. And the first 82 of them will receive a device for refueling the battery car. Lamps exchanged by the city company Technology of the capital city of ten city walls.
According to two weekly cities, there will be about 3,000 modern lamps, ie 6,000 chargers, in Prague until 2026. The change is also related to the standard for Euro 7 cars, which according to the European Commission should come into force in 2025 and would actually prevent the production of a car without electric drive. According to estimates, there will be about 500,000 and 700,000 electric cars in the Czech Republic in 2030, of which about Aunt in Prague.
