The Civil Aviation Service (CAA) announces to the passenger public the new covid-19 notam of foreign flights with the conditions of entry in Greece.
The aviation directive stipulates that the arrivals of all domestic passengers will be made to Greece without completing the PLF from Tuesday, March 15, 2022. At the same time, two (2) more countries have joined the EU digital certification system, Benin and Jordan, which means that certified passengers from these countries will also not be required to test negative if they have been vaccinated or become ill.

Mandatory completion of PLF for all passengers until Monday 14 March 2022- From 15/3/22 entry into Greece without PLF: All travelers to Greece, regardless of nationality, fill in the electronic form PLF (Passenger Locator Form), in the electronic address https://travel.gov.gr hour before the departure of the flight to Greece.
The proof of completion of the PLF electronic form, which is automatically sent by e-mail to the passenger by the system, is considered a necessary travel document. Travelers with a European Digital Certificate COVID-19 without an arrival test: Entry of travelers holding a certificate, (nationals), from the Member States of the Union (EU) and the Schengen Agreement, as well as from the thirty five (35) non-EU countries that have acceded to the European Union Digital Covid Certificate (EUDCC), ie the following: San Marino, Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Vatican, Northern Macedonia, Georgia, Switzerland, Switzerland , United Arab Emirates, Turkey, United Kingdom, Iceland, Israel, Liechtenstein, Lebanon, Morocco, Montenegro, Moldova, Monaco, Norway, New Zealand, Ukraine, Uruguay, Panama, Green Cape, Se Islands and Chinese Taipei *, is permitted upon presentation of the COVID-19 Digital Certificate, which contains information on one of the following:
a) Vaccination certificate valid for up to nine (9) months after the completion of the basic vaccination and without time limit for travelers who have received the booster dose.
b) Certificate of illness lasting up to one hundred and eighty (180) days.
c) Certificate negative result, with the PCR method within the last seventy two (72) hours or alternatively to be diagnosed negative in a rapid test twenty four (24) hours before the one in Greece.
No Tests Required in the USA, Australia or Canada demonstration alternatively of one of the following documents:
a) Vaccination certificate valid for up to nine (9) months after the completion of the basic vaccination and without time limit for travelers who have received the booster dose.
b) Certificate of illness lasting up to one hundred and eighty (180) days.

With negative test entry into Greece regardless of vaccination for all other travelers: All other travelers to Greece, except EU countries and the Schengen Agreement, travelers from Australia, the United States of America (USA), Canada and the thirty-five (35) non-EU countries that have acceded to the EU COVID-19 Digital Certificate, including their spouses or cohabitation partners, and their minor children. , regardless of their vaccination status, must have been diagnosed negative by PCR test within the last seventy two (72) hours or alternatively have not been diagnosed negative by rapid test within twenty four (24) hours prior to their exposure in Greece .
Checks on children from five (5) years old and over: The obligation of the conditions for entering Greece is valid for children from five (5) years old and over.
Sampling of travelers and temporary restriction of five (5) days in case of cases: All passengers are subject to additional control and sampling (PCR or rapid test) upon arrival, based on the procedure provided by the Passenger Locator Form.
In case a passenger finds them positive, the quarantine / isolation will be valid for five (5) days, at home or in a suitable place of temporary residence indicated by the competent authorities. The temporary restriction starts from the next day of their diagnosis as COVID-19 coronavirus positive. After five (5) days and if there are no symptoms or the symptoms have improved, with complete remission of the fever for twenty-four (24) hours without the use of antipyretics, the temporary restriction ends.
If the fever persists after five (5) days, the temporary restriction is extended until the fever has completely subsided. These passengers are required to wear only a high respiratory protection mask (FFP2 or N95) or an alternative double mask (plastic and fabric) for at least another five (5) days after the end of the restriction. All passengers must faithfully follow the instructions of the health authorities of our country.
The use of a mask is mandatory: At arrivals and departures inside airports, as well as during air flights, staff and passengers are required to wear a protective mask. Passengers are also required to comply with the instructions of permanent and temporary staff of airports or airlines responsible for the duties of supervision, crowd management and assistance to passengers, in order to maintain the necessary distances and to ensure safe passage and avoidance. . to avoid overcrowding.
