Czech EU Presidency: Prague will provide representation facilities for the government
The government and the ministry will be able to take advantage the main hall of the mayor’s residence, which can accommodate up to 140 people in a so-called theatrical arrangement. The residence includes lounges, namely music, women’s, men’s, lemon or Player, the total capacity is a maximum of 120 people. It will also be possible to use the entrance and dining halls.
The Old Town Hall may contain the historic premises of the Brožík Hall and Jiřík’s Hall. Another representative space in the town hall building is the Hall of Architects on the fourth floor or the Large and Small Town Hall Clubs. The council hall in the municipality building on Malostranské náměstí can accommodate up to 200 people. In the background is a space for catering and other spaces for about 40 people.
The city will provide for the event audiovisual equipment, which will be provided as part of the free rental of premises with the exit of the assembly hall. The organizer pays CZK 1,000 per hour for audio and the same thing for visual equipment for the equipment in the hall. “Any above-standard requirements in audiovisual technology will already be charged on the basis of a market mechanism,” the material said.
Although the space loan itself is free of charge, the non-financial consideration will be, in particular, taking over the auspices of specific events from Prague councilors, who will, for example, deliver the opening ceremony, introductory word or ceremonial toast. Souvenirs and promotional items from Prague will be distributed at the events.
