AGRICULTURE SHOW: More than 500,000 visitors
Attendance is down from previous editions which fluctuated around 600,000 visitors.
International Agricultural Show, the joy and success of the reunion
Farmers, exhibitors, visitors, organizers are in unison to say how much this show was expected and how much it has kept, even exceeded, its promises for all those who bring it to life!
“In 13 years as President of the International Agricultural Show, I have never seen so many people happy to be there, walking the aisles of the Show and interacting with farmers and exhibitors. The taste of reunions passed by the agricultural paths for sure! enthuses Jean-Luc Poulain.
They were 502,757 to hurry to Porte de Versailles with interest, happiness and appetite to learn about agricultural trades, taste local products and admire the animals, for some rewarded by a jury.

Without forgetting the great success of the CIPV and the CGA of Agro-ecological Practices
After a 2020 edition cut by one day, and a blank year in 2021, many visitors came to declare their love and gratitude to the agricultural world.
“For this year of reunions, we were keen to make this show a large window open to everything that makes up the wealth of our agriculture and to highlight the future of agriculture. A successful bet if we are to believe the young people who came, it seems, even more numerous than the previous edition” observes Valérie Le Roy, the director of the Salon.
A claimed moment of sharing and exchanges by visitors, with a remarkable presence of new generations on this edition, these 9 days of the show were also an opportunity to address the issues of food sovereignty, training and renewal. vocations, with in particular the highlighting of numerous initiatives and programs aimed at promoting the various agricultural professions to a young public aware of the future challenges of agriculture and food.
The Fair also remains a great opportunity to establish trade and economic development and a unique opportunity for institutions and politicians, candidates or not, to discover or rediscover peasant know-how (more than 65 official visits), to understand agricultural and agro-food initiatives and innovations and an indisputable chance for exhibitors to offer quality products and services.
All to the joy and success of this 58th edition, it closes its doors today under the shadow of the conflict in Ukraine, and discussions on the future of our agriculture which were suggested by all the players and will continue in the coming months.
The 59th edition of the International Agricultural Show will be held from February 25 to March 5, 2023
