We speak to you regularly since the beginning of the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, solidarity initiatives to help the Ukrainian people are multiplying. This is particularly the case for several municipalities in the Dijon metropolitan area such as Asnières-lès-Dijon, Saint-Apollinaire and Longvic.
More generally in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, a solidarity convoy is preparing to leave Besançon to reach the Ukrainian border this Saturday evening. Organized by the Besançon baker Stéphane Ravacley, this convoy will consist of fourteen trucks, an ambulance and two buses to be able to bring back around a hundred Ukrainian refugees.
Dijon companies are mobilizing for the solidarity convoy
Municipal councilor at the town hall of Dijon but also councilor in Dijon metropolis, Claire Vuillemin wished to participate in this solidarity convoy. “I wanted to launch the initiative in Dijon with two friends, at the La Scala restaurant, in order to collect donations to transit all this to Besançon tomorrow”. The transport company COB21 notably volunteered to lend a truck with a driver who wanted to contribute. Reservoir Immo and AMG Informatique also wanted to participate in this convoy through financial donations.
You can follow the progress of the solidarity convoy on the Facebook pages of Claire Vuillemin and Stephane Ravacley.
