But in order to take truly functional action, we need to have enough data and information about the shape of the city’s climate. The aim of the pilot project is to test sensors for monitoring the microclimatic parameters of the urban environment in the street space and to select the technology that will be offered for use in Prague. Part of it is the preparation of methodology, how feasible measurement of this type.
The data obtained from the sensors will be transferred to the hl. m Prague Golemio, where they will be gradually processed and made available as a data layer. “We will test 6 different types of sensors suitable for urban climate mapping, verify their reliability and how to use the data to create a temperature map. We will create this according to the nature of the place where the measurement takes place.
