RANKING Top 14. Toulouse is recovering, the MHR and Racing continue their crazy series
It’s not just the 6 Nations Tournament and the XV of France in life. This weekend was also the 19ᵉ day of Top 14. And after all these postponed matches, we are finally starting to see a little more clearly, especially at the top of the ranking. The MHR continues its crazy series of invincibility. As a reminder, the Cistes have not lost in the league since October 16 (9 wins, 1 draw) and are starting to slightly threaten the chair of leader of the Union Bordeaux-Bègles. With its improved success at the Stade Français, Montpellier, still second, returns with one game less to one point behind the Girondins. Another team in form, Racing, which continues its crazy rise. After their victory over Castres, Laurent Travers’ men sign a sixth consecutive success there and are now in fourth place.

For its part, Toulouse has finally revived after a negative spiral of 6 defeats in a row. Faced with UBB, which has been treading water for three days, the Haut-Garonnais have snatched a precious success in the race for qualification. They therefore remain sixth but will have to be wary of their pursuers, in particular La Rochelle, who, thanks to their victory in Pau, are on the heels of Ugo Mola’s men 3 points behind. Finally at the bottom of the ranking, Brive offered a breath of fresh air in the race to maintain by overcoming Toulon. The Corréziens are therefore tenth and overtake the Section Paloise in favor of direct confrontations which fell at home against Pau. Despite two games less, Toulon continues to worry and remains stuck at the bottom of the standings. 12th with 31 points, the RCT is only ahead of the USAP by two small points. Biarritz despite its very good match in Lyon, remains red lantern, with only 24 units.
