On Sunday morning, there were reports of fighting in Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second largest city. Hers is the latest update:
* Norwegian soldiers on their way to Lithuania.
* Ukraine has filed a complaint against Russia with the International Court of Justice in The Hague, demanding that it stop the invasion. This was confirmed by President Volodymyr Zelensky on Sunday.
* Norway allows ammunition produced in this country to be forwarded to Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs VG.
* On Sunday morning, it is reported that fighting is taking place in the streets of Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second largest city, according to the authorities in the region.
* Russia says it has besieged Ukrainian cities. “Over the past 24 hours, the cities of Kherson and Berdyansk have been completely blocked by the Russian armed forces,” said a spokesman for Russia’s Defense Ministry, according to Russian news agencies.
* EU arms supplies have begun to flow into Ukraine. Significantly more is on the way. This was stated by an EU official as a journalist on Sunday.
* The airspace is to be closed to Russian flying all over Europe – including in Norway. A large majority of EU member states have been notified that they will close the airspace to Russian aircraft – including our Nordic neighbors Denmark, Finland and Sweden.
Unclear deaths
* The 13 Ukrainian soldiers who were reported killed on Thursday while defending an island in the Black Sea, may still be alive, according to the Ukrainian border guard force.
* The UN confirms at least 240 civilian casualties, among them at least 64 killed, in the fighting in Ukraine since Thursday when Russia invaded the country. The figures include the evening count until sent on Saturday and are based on strong confirmed procedures and methodologies, according to the UN Emergency Relief Office (OCHA).

* French President Emmanuel Macron has asked his Belarusian counterpart to order Russia to withdraw its forces from Belarus.
* North Korea accuses the United States of being the trigger for the Ukraine crisis, in what is the country’s first official response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
* Foreign Ministers from G7 countries will meet digitally on Sunday to discuss the Ukraine crisis. Japan’s Prime Minister says he will reaffirm Japan’s cooperation with the other partners in the world’s leading democratic economy – the United States, Canada, Britain, France, Germany and Italy – with the goal of a better situation in the Ukraine crisis.
* Elon Musk activates satellite internet in Ukraine. The activation was in response to a request from Ukraine’s Digitization Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.
* Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj is asking UN Secretary-General António Guterres to deprive Russia of the right to vote in the UN Security Council.

A six-year-old boy has been killed and several others injured in an attack in the Ukrainian capital, CNN reports. The attack took place in a western district of Kyiv on Saturday night, reported CNN night to Sunday.
* A Russian attack hit a nuclear waste facility in Kyiv on Sunday night, according to the Ukrainian Radiation Protection Authority. The attack was registered on surveillance cameras, the radiation protection authority informs according to the newspaper Kiev independent.
* A large fire has broken out after a rocket attack on Vasylkiv southwest of Ukraine’s capital Kyiv, where there is a military airport and an oil depot. CNN reports that it has taken place to store explosions at Vasylkiv. The city is located about 30 kilometers from the capital.
