Toulouse: A woman in critical condition after a fall from two floors, her son in police custody
A woman is between life and death after falling two floors overnight from Thursday to Friday in Toulouse. His son was arrested.
What happened behind closed doors in a Toulouse apartment on the night of Thursday to Friday? The firefighters and the Samu were called shortly before 4 a.m., for an injured woman on the public road rue Louis-Plana, in the Soupetard sector, east of Toulouse. On the spot, they fell on the victim, face against the ground in a condition considered serious.
She suffered multiple fractures, including to her face and legs. At his side is a man who explained to be the son of the victim. Confronted with this unusual scene, the emergency services warned the police who went to the scene. Agitated, the man said that his mother had jumped from the window of his bedroom, located on the second floor of the building.
The altogether confused proposals of this man intrigued the police especially as the victim, although seriously affected, was able to express some explanations. According to the latter, it was not swung into the void but it would have been pushed? By who? And for what reason ? Her son was tested for alcohol. He had a rate of 1.5 grams per liter of blood.
The police arrested him and he was taken to the central police station to be taken into custody. For his part, the victim was transported to the emergency room of the Purpan hospital in a condition deemed critical. His vital prognosis was engaged and remained so this Friday.
An investigation was opened and sent to the departmental family protection unit of the departmental security. The 52-year-old son was to shed some light on the unfolding of events that led to this woman’s downfall.
