Toulouse: gratuitous violence by “enrages” on scooters
Two teenagers were beaten up for no reason last night by two young people on scooters. The latter were arrested by the bac police after a chase in the Bagatelle district.
Their faces are scary, they are swollen and covered with bruises. These 17-year-old kids also both have broken noses. They were the prey of two young alcoholics in a state of fury. This happened on February 24 around 2 a.m. in the area of the Saint-Michel bridge in Toulouse. The two teenagers are quietly pacing the neighborhood when their two attackers on a scooter start shouting at them.
Claiming that one of their victims would have had trouble with an acquaintance, they rush on them, strike them a shower of blows in the face and then resound to hit them while they are on the ground. At the same time, the two young people on a scooter try to snatch a mobile phone and a bag that one of the victims is carrying over their shoulder. Without success. The two attackers, aged 17 and 19, clear the floor and run at breakneck speed, towards the Bagatelle district. They are chased by a team from the bac (anti-crime brigade) left bank.
The police go up to the scooter of the young people. They don’t slow down and try to run away. The two-wheeler is blocked by the police car. Despite, his tent forces the passage. Seeing that it gets stuck, they abandon their machine and sprint to escape the officials.
The ferry agents end up after a few minutes of course-pursuit to challenge them. The two young assailants are currently in custody.
