Section D6 near Druzce is waiting for the first repairs this year, the replacement of drainage will limit traffic in the direction of Prague
This year, road workers on the D6 are planning the most repairs in the section around Druzce behind the exit at Velká Dobrá. The first works will begin with the onset of spring.
In a month’s time, the repair of the kilometer section of the D6 motorway near the village of Družec will begin. From the second half of March onwards, drivers will have to prepare to start traffic in one lane. The restriction will apply to the left direction. The end date is scheduled for April.
“The work will take place during traffic with traffic restrictions in the left lane of the motorway in the direction of Prague. In the incriminated section, the right lane will be closed and drivers will pass only one lane to the left, “ explains in his materials ŘSD.
Workers on the section are repairing a drainage rig, which does not currently drain rainwater from the highway. The water then flows out and helps erode the slope.
Repairs worth 5.2 million crowns will be carried out by Skanska, which succeeded in the tender last October as the only bidder.
However, work at Druzce is not the only repair of the D6 motorway in the section in front of the capital this year. Road workers are currently planning another three repairs. In the left lane, the builders will start the reconstruction of the surface near Hostivice, Kamenné Žehrovice and Druzce. The highway bridge will also be repaired at the last mentioned place.
