Rooms-sur-l’Hers. Another nice football weekend at the USS
Once is not custom, on Thursday the “Cocottes” (nickname that the players of the USS have given themselves) received the Mazères team. The Salhersiennes lost 5 to 0. Despite a heavy score, the girls held out for 2nd in the Ariège championship for two periods of 30 minutes out of 3. On this occasion, the women also received their endowment for the season thanks to a new sponsor, Raid Adventure Organisation, present for the occasion. The club, the coach and the girls thank them warmly.
On Saturday, the U10-U11s received the criterium and the record turned out to be very good with a 3-0 victory against Goal 1 and a draw 1 everywhere against Alzonne / Arzens / Montreal. At the same time, the U8-U9 went to Sainte-Eulalie for the set and, there too, the results were relatively good. Indeed, the first team left with 3 wins and 1 draw while team 2 finished with 1 draw and 3 losses. Progress is increasingly visible.
In the afternoon, it was the turn of the U6-U7s to travel to Sainte-Eulalie, with decent results despite a few absences. The first team recorded 2 wins for 2 losses and the team leaves with 4 losses, but the morale was there.
Sunday, the seniors 1 had a complicated trip to Quillan. The Salhersiens were able to take the match by the right end and lead 2 to 0 at halftime. The “tango and black” dominate the match without worsening the score and, 20 minutes from the end of the match, the locals spread the mark. But the Salhersiens keep good and leave with the victory with the final score of 2 to 1. The match was pleasant, with very good refereeing.
Sunday, February 20, team 2 receives Arzens on behalf of the reserve cup. The USS expects many of you to encourage them.
