The place and the exact date is still under negotiation
The specific place and date of the event are not yet known. “We have pre-negotiated variants of specific dates, as well as several places where we could build our complex, but since I know that the extra-league match is now necessary to wait for negotiations with the hockey association regarding the calendar of next season’s matches,” said the organizers.
As the face of Winter Hockey Games is the legendary striker Jaromír Jágr, it can be expected that his Kladno will be one of the teams that will present themselves in the metropolis. The participation of the Prague Sparta, whose leadership acknowledged the participation in the original term of the Winter Hockey Games, is also probable. “It was an experience for us in Dresden, including the fans for whom we sent the train. Last year, extraordinary events in Špindlerův Mlýn were to be organized by almost the entire complex with a capacity of 7,500 spectators. However, according to government measures related to coronavirus, a maximum of a thousand fans could come to the match at that time.
