the Téléo cable car put into service at the beginning of May, the last phase of the work
The construction site of Teleothe urban cable car Toulouse, begins his last phasebefore a planned commissioning to pay may’s beginning. This Monday, February 14, Jean-Michel Lattes, president of Tisséo Ingénierie, visited this site, estimated at €82.41m. The opportunity to take stock of the final stages of workin the presence of Jean-Luc Moudenc, mayor of Toulouse, and Nicolas Misiak, president of Tisséo Voyageurs.
A month-long blank run
Started in 2019 and slowed down by the health crisis, the site is currently occupied with finishing work on the buildings. At the beginning of January, a new battery of tests was carried out with a view to engaging, by end of Februarya phase of verification and multiple checks.

The facility keys will be appointed to Tisséo end of March. The Toulouse transport authority will then proceed to a blank run lasting one month. Objective: to train its staff and test all the features of the empty installation, after which the prefect can then authorize the opening to the public.
1,500 passengers per hour, from 5 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.
Teleo willimprove service to several centers of attraction Toulouse majors: thePaul Sabatier University and its 30,000 students, theRangueil Hospital and the 200,000 annual consultations that are provided there as well as the area ofOncopole and the 10,000 jobs it has created. Users will thus be able to reach the Paul-Sabatier University in 10 minutes from the Oncopole.

In this area, the needs are revealed to 8,000 passengers per day. Téléo will accommodate 1,500 per hour and per direction, from 5 a.m. to 12:30 a.m., at a frequency of one cabin every one and a half minutes at peak times. Note that it is designed to work with vents up to 108 km/h.
The cable car will serve three stations : Paul-Sabatier University, Rangueil-Louis Lareng Hospital and Oncopole-Lise Enjalbert. Connected to line Bit will be accompanied by connections to the bus network and the design of a park-and-ride with a capacity of 500 seats near the Oncopole. An extension allowing matches with the 3rd metro line is also affected.
