Sunday’s seven Olympic championship titles went to riders from seven different countries. The Shaoang gold medal for our most important short track speed skater reached 500 meters. With this, ours came in 18th, ahead of the Czech Republic, Slovakia, New Zealand, Belarus and Spain.
The leading German riders were left without gold, so the Norwegians, who won in ski shooting and collected two more silvers, took the lead.
In third place is still American transport, shoulder to shoulder with the Dutch: the former won the Olympic championship in speed skating and the latter in the short track version. The Russians, the Swiss and the French also received gold.
