From 2023, Ambiente, Creativeworld and Christmasworld will take place at the same time at the Frankfurt exhibition center. The company is also planning a new regional trade fair.
From next year, Messe Frankfurt will be hosting the consumer goods fairs Ambiente, Creativeworld and Christmasworld at the same time on its Frankfurt site. Paperworld is no longer an independent offer at the local location. In the future, your product groups will be found in the new area of Ambiente Working, Christmasworld and Creativeworld. With these steps, the mostly municipal company is combining two previously separate trade fair dates. The first joint consumer goods show is scheduled for February 3-7, 2023.
This year, Creativeworld, Christmasworld and Paperworld were supposed to take place from January 28th to February 1st, and Ambiente from February 11th to 15th. But the fair canceled the consumer goods shows because of the ongoing pandemic.
Messe Frankfurt will establish a new design and lifestyle offering
Messe Frankfurt justified the merger of the three consumer goods fairs with “synergy effects for exhibitors, visitors and the media”, but also with the upheaval in the global consumer goods industry. It points to new forms of trade and distribution, increasing online sales figures and falling customer frequencies in once attractive retail locations, supply chain problems, material shortages and changes in business travel behavior during the pandemic.
Messe Frankfurt is also announcing a new regional design and lifestyle offering, which it will host in Frankfurt for the first time in the summer of next year. The new format for the second half of the year will replace previous trade fair platforms for the summer and open up an attractive growth path for the consumer goods industry in the city and region, the company says.
