DIJON: “The animated life of Nina W” at the Minoterie on February 12
The cultural structure gives an appointment for a show in French sign language. Other actions at the Minoterie in February: a stage during school holidays and the restitution of a participatory project under construction.
A month under the sign of doing with & practice
Focus on a show in LSF version “The Animated Life of Nina W”
and on two courses, with the youngest, which highlight the practice
Poetic invitations, artistic experiences, there is no shortage of requests for young and old in February! Our proposals are invented, just like those of our accomplices, cultural actors and partners in the field.
Working on a territory means weaving a web with all the actors that make it up. So our upcoming meetings, we were keen to build them with it! This month is therefore under the sign of partnership:
– From mid-February, the Halle de la Minoterie will be adorned with the colors of the A pas contés young audience festival. In co-production with the ABC, we will host two shows within our walls. These two forms were supported in co-production. Supporting artists at each stage of their creative journey is also what La Minoterie is about!
February is also the month of practice! :
– At the call of the holidays, the youngest could dive into the world of the Première Fontes company, sound and visual handymen, with a stage combining spatial layout, plastic arts and sound work.
– And from 22 to 25.02, the continuation of the participative project Find your words come to life within our walls. A project that invites young people aged 14 to 18, alongside a collective of professional artists, to make their words resound on stage.
Show meetings, in co-production with L’ABC – As part of the À Pas Contés 2022 festival
The animated life of Nina W
Company Les Bas-Bleus
Theater and puppets (8 years and over)
A form that is freely inspired by the life of Nina Wolmark, screenwriter and adaptor of famous cartoons (Ulysses 31, The Sunken Worlds, Rahan-son of fierce ages). Born in the middle of the Second World War, Nina W says of herself that she fell into the “tragic potion” at birth. And yet, later, this child will make millions of others dream. Her story, transformed into fiction under the gaze of Séverine Coulon, helps us dream of possibilities and reinvent today’s world!

Then the artists will offer the participants to tell their story by making their living portraits, between plastic arts and body work.
All these materials will intertwine for the duration of a collective restitution at the end of the scene. An event not to be missed for all parents!
Stage led by the Première Fontes company. With Guillaume Vesin, musical composer and Cassandre Boy, scenographer.
Holidays from Monday 21 to 25 February. From 9.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the mill.

The “Find your words” project, a look back at a participatory project under construction
Finding Your Words is an expression project for teenagers aged 14 to 18, accompanied by a collective of professional artists.
At the end of 2021, a first writing phase was invented alongside Emanuel Campo (author) and Marion Chobert (director). From the feathers of the participants were born portraits and poems that tell of “alternative itineraries”, these situations of rupture (school, family), these hours. These texts gave rise to the recording and creation of a podcast.
And the next meetings? From February 22 to 25, young people will participate in a theater scene for a public restitution on Friday February 25 at 6 p.m. Four days to live a unique creative experience, like the artists who pass through the Minoterie, and to make their words resonate on stage.
Project carried out with our accomplices by the Minoterie, in partnership with the relay class of the Marcel Pardé college, the Mission system to fight against school dropout at the Marcs d’Or high school, the Acodège association and the specialized unit Le Prisme du center Hospital de la Chartreuse I With the support of the France Télévisions Foundation – Media engagement for young people, as part of the Ma Parole call for projects.
