S: The number of dwellings built in 2021 – the number of dwellings started in Prague increased significantly (by 123.7%)

In the last year 2021, the number of started flats in Prague has increased significantly (by 123.7%). On the contrary, the poet completed the apartment fell by as much as 4%. Meziron growth was recorded in building permits and coal production (by 2.3%). The approximate value of construction increased enormously (by 157.4%), mainly due to internal construction.

In terms of the type of construction, more than 92% of Prague’s buildings were new. In the remaining less than 8%, it was a change in completed constructions, ie various superstructures, extensions and other building rights. According to the type of construction, most flats in new apartment buildings were traditionally started (8,283 flats), which is the bottom of a typical city building in Prague. In contrast, 655 flats were started in the new family houses. In the case of family houses it was a known interim increase of 56%, in the case of apartment houses there was a significant increase in the number of 155.2%.
Apartments finished
