“The professions of care and support for fragile people, disabled people, the elderly, children in difficulty, protected adults… are undergoing an unprecedented crisis”, explains Alexandre Maltese, HRD of the Marie-Louise Foundation. “Our latest national NEXEM barometer reports a potential of 30,000 vacancies, which means a deterioration in support for residents received and dissatisfied families. At Marie-Louise, this represents more than 20 vacant positions, and around ten additional positions to be filled by the end of the year. Caregiver, nurse, educational and social support worker, cook, internal service agent… each of them is essential in supporting the residents welcomed in our establishments. We are at a crossroads, so time is running out. »
Distributors of smiles and well-being
It is in this extremely tense context that the institution, recognized as being of public utility, will organize its first job dating this Friday, February 11, on its Gratentour site. Beginners, experienced profiles, in training or retraining, all candidates are welcome, must be sensitive to the values of solidarity, conviviality, quality and openness, the four fundamentals of the association, Created in 1982, au nord of Toulouse, Marie-Louise supports and ensures the well-being of adults with severe disabilities. And it now has seven adapted living spaces: six specialized reception centers (MAS) in Gratentour, Castelginest, Pechbonnieu, Saint Alban and Vacquiers, as well as a farm with an equine therapy centre. That is 300 staff serving 275 residents.
