Prague 1 invites residents to join the Plan for One! | Prague 1 | From the region Pražská Drbna
Jednička created a project for the inhabitants of Prague called Plan for Jednička !. They now have the opportunity to influence the development of Prague 1, to fully participate in discussions on important topics and to contribute to the strategy that the management of the first city district is now developing.
The new strategy with the opinions of Prague residents will affect the development of Prague 1 until 2035
The first part of the city is currently fully dedicated to creating a Sustainable Development Strategy for the next decade, which will build on the development projects of Jednička implemented so far. Given that the management of Prague 1 is of the opinion that all its inhabitants should be involved in the development of the territory, it offers ordinary citizens the opportunity to participate in the preparation of this strategy, which will fully affect the next steps of the One by 2035.
“Our part of the city is a unique place with an incredible genius loci. What direction it should take in the coming years is primarily a question for us, the locals, but also, of course, for all the others who commute to work, to school, to their loved ones or to admire the beautiful sights. We will therefore be very happy if you participate in the workshops and research in as many numbers as possible. Your opinions, comments or questions will be the basic building block in creating the future face of our city center. Thank you for your cooperation,” the mayor told the inhabitants of the first part of the city Petr Hejma (TENT).
Public and online meetings or surveys
Those interested who like to take part in the development of Jednička can take part in public meetings that will take place in individual parts of Prague. People who get sick or miss the meeting place can also get involved through online meetings. The research works with a representative sample of 800 to thousand inhabitants of Prague 1, who are selected on the basis of sociological methods. The research will cover topics such as security, public space, transport, infrastructure, civic amenities and overall quality of life.
