We currently consider the operation and maintenance of the runway system and terminals or the safety of the airport’s operation to be the most important topics, “says Jiří Pos, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Prague Airport, to start the cooperation. The cooperation will take place through working groups to which experts on the topic will be nominated.
“The cooperation of airport operators expressed by today’s signing of the memorandum is an extremely important operation for joint action in ensuring safe operation at our airports, both in the field of regulation and in the field, maintenance and development of the backbone network of transport airports in the Czech Republic,” says Jiří Filip Brno.
“Air transport has suffered significant economic damage from the pandemic. I therefore appreciate that, in the phase of air traffic renewal, the individual airports have decided to cooperate on certain issues. Sharing best practices and also using all our resources efficiently can provide an impetus for restoring the economic prosperity and competitiveness of our air transport, ”adds Deputy Minister of Transport Jan Sechter.
AREAS OF COOPERATION:
Airport operation – operation and maintenance of the runway system, terminals, airport services and more.
Airport safety – operational safety management system.
Civil aviation security and security – definition and implementation of security measures, security strategies, airport security and security control.
