The discovery of the year was announced by director Michal Nohejl for the film Occupation.
“Thank you very much … I didn’t invent anything this year, I didn’t find anything, so maybe it’s just a mistake. But if it’s not a mistake, I want to say that the award belongs to everyone who collaborated on the film, and without them I would never have made the film, “said Nohejl, who was also named the best director.
The prize for the screenplay also belongs to the Occupation, specifically to Marek Šindelka and Vojtěch Mašek.
The award for the best concept of audiovisual activity was brought by the art film Mice Belongs to Heaven. The award for best short film went to Diana Cam Van Nguyen’s Dear Dad.
