Hannover 96: Mike Frantz tested positive, premiere for talent Nicolo Tresoldi – Bundesliga
This 1: 3 in Heidenheim was a relapse, Hannover 96 missed the jump from the basement. Three dropouts at the back and frightening harmlessness at the front brought Christoph Dabrowski (43) the first away defeat as a 96 coach.
“At the moment I have no explanation as to why we were sloppy when it came to conceding goals,” said Dabro angrily. Until Friday evening, the Reds 2022 were still zero (1-0 in Rostock, 3-0 in the cup against Gladbach, 0-0 against Dresden).
The coach was disappointed: “All in all, we didn’t get into our game at all when we had the ball, lost the ball too much, offered little depth, had little relief, didn’t defend it well.”
Hannover 96 does not come out of the basement – and is now waiting with Darmstadt and St. Pauli of the first and second league.
Dabro: “We will continue. We are coming out of a difficult situation, we still have a way to go. We will analyze this sensibly and quickly look ahead. We have challenging games in February, we want to look ahead and then get the necessary points again.”
After the bankruptcy in Heidenheim, the 96 coach revealed a Corona case. Oldie Mike Frantz (35) tested positive and is in quarantine. Dabro: “Unfortunately, Mike Frantz had a positive corona test, but has no symptoms, he’s fine.” Frantz is boosted.
Striker talent Nicolo Tresoldi (17) replaced the oldie in the squad – his bench premiere in the 2nd division. “As a young boy, he should get to know the processes and the feeling of being part of the professional team on matchday.”
At least one Reds winner…
