A delicacy on the ice of Tábor: in the battle of the teams at the head of the table, the roosters host Kobra Praha
After a one-week break, the hockey players of the Tábor HC are getting ready to start the second-league field on Saturday. It will undoubtedly be an interesting challenge for the fans – on the other side of the ice rink will be the co-tourism of the competition, currently the third team of Kobra Praha. The sixth battle between the two opponents in the basic part will start at 6 p.m.

So far, the Tábor team has a positive balance in mutual fights with the Prague opponent. At the beginning of the season he won in Prague 5: 1, in the first domestic branch he defeated Kobra 6: 5 after the raids and then he reached Braník for another three-point win in the ratio 4: 1. The Tábor team won the second home duel with a 3: 1 win and stayed on the shields of the Praguers in the end in the fifth seasonal confrontation, although the 3: 4 defeat was a better team after most of the match.
The Kobra hockey players are in third place in the Jih group, which they can no longer lose. However, they still have something to play for, as they remain only four points behind the second Příbram. From the point of view of the Cobra players, this is the most probable variant for the semifinals; and if they were still able to sink this opponent under them, they would play the first semi-final duel at home with him and they would have the same if they won the seventh match.
The team from Braník is pulled behind the highest goals by an elite and extraordinary offensive formation with the most productive player of the competition, Kamil Bříška (33 + 38), Tomáš Šťastný and Lukáš Tondr. The trio collected a respectable 169 points. If the contributions of the two most productive defenders, Dominic Steiner and Mark Ryzak, are added to this number, the statistics of this complete five will report 210 Canadian points. And that’s more than all the other members of the Prague second league team put together.
Another significant support for the team is the Prague team in one of the busiest goalkeepers in the Jih group, Lukáš Sochůrek. Cobra coach Miloslav Šeba also took advantage of the start of Slavic assistants Martina Michajlová (two of the four starts for Kobra he scored just against Tábor) and Roman Málek.
The Tábor hockey team filled the week without a match with relatively intensive training. Of course, it was not completed by the experienced Jakub Matušík, who overcomes thrombosis, but also another center Jan Bárta, who will not be let on the ice due to injuries from the last match against Klatovy. The weekly training participation was also lined with other fleeting absences, which, however, would not have to be reflected in the line-up for Saturday’s duel. The return of students Tomáš Hajič and Milan Dančišin is a nice news. The audience was also introduced to the most recent addition to the blue-and-white offensive, 28-year-old forward Tomáš Rousek.
