We’ll put it on when it gets tough. Police showed a 30 million emergency truck
Police officers from the Prague Special Law Enforcement Unit designed a special truck superstructure themselves. The Mecedes-Benz Actros with an independent mobile workplace will be used in risky situations, crowd gatherings, concerts or football matches, missing people searches or live disasters in the metropolis.

The police had the vehicle divided into two separate workplaces for a total of 12 people with their own source of electricity. The superstructure has a sliding side, thanks to which the right interior space can be extended.
It is possible to use two separate entrances when entering the superstructure. Police officers can connect their systems from the car, cope with possible insufficient coverage of the mobile network or the signal of their transmitter.
The device can also search for people in inaccessible terrain. The vehicle itself also has its own protection supplemented by a camera system.
“Thanks to a donation from the Capital City of Prague, they were able to buy a unique vehicle that will be used by special police officers during emergencies and security measures. They designed it to suit them as much as possible in ensuring public order and security in the city,” director Tomáš Lerch.
The price of the car with the complete superstructure paid by Prague is 30 million crowns.
