The railway administration is preparing a complete reconstruction of the station together with the Prague City Hall, which is preparing a new transport terminal here. The railway part of the project includes a complete reconstruction of the station. The plan is the reconstruction of the station building, including the check-in hall, as well as platforms, underpasses, technological equipment and the railway bottom and top. The station, including platforms, should be completely covered.
The modernization of the Smíchov railway station is closer to implementation. We have a final change in the zoning decision from 2018 for the reconstruction of the Prague-Smíchov railway station. In the first quarter of this year, we can apply for a building permit and prepare a tender for a contractor. pic.twitter.com/NXgB1RctUc
