Meters nostalgically remembered the electronics store in Ve Smekch Street
It turned out that the Electronics store of the Svazarm Hi-Club Ve Smekch, just above the well-known theater, inohern klub, was a Mecca of cracks, but also of non-cracks, a fan of quality sound. All those who did not have Tuzex accounts loved to buy down speakers, turntables, amplifiers and other equipment. And so they at least bought assemblies and assembled very sunny equipment for their time.
That’s why I want to thank you so much, so the rest of you will be in the past. For some posts I left the name Hifi or Hi-fi, I also left the then argon argon. Because every group of enthusiasts has their own language of communication and it is time to edit it.
Jaromr Adamus: Technology served me a long time
Before, I was always fascinated by the professional rehearsal tape recorder AKAI with huge speakers and absolutely timely sound. In the hi-fi club, Transiwatt amplifiers with a power of 2×20 watts sold a lot of transistors (many sine power, music was 30 watts). The one that remembers at a time is about 2200 pcs. One speaker table costs 700 pcs. I have both had a long km of satisfaction. According to the fact, there was sold a very simple turntable kit with a diamond tip, where the speed was changed by a running emnku. I didn’t know anything about the amplifier with a power of 120 watts in later years.

Vladimr Adamec: I was twelve years ago
He sweated in the lion, he shook me for a dozen years back. Surprisingly, in connection with the music, I remember that time. Even though it follows from your article and my memories that getting your own sunny audio equipment was a chore. With my own indebtedness after the war, I started with a Polish Grundig licensed tape recorder, which is marked ZK + nco, of course, under the counter for 50 or 100 pcs. To this I later added a change of grammar – about NC 420, and when I recovered financially, I went to Smeek, to the Electronics Hifi Club Svazarm. Yesterday night, it was up to you to hit, at that time it really was no different without a command, only the kit of that super amplifier, which I then put together with the help of a fellow colleague in electronics. In addition, the table. For beer, for work, for some broken bite. I connected a tape recorder, gramoasi, lahoda. But you, my indecent rape from him … Hmmm. I went to the HiFi store again for the technology of polystyrene speakers. Again, the kit and go for it incomplete, without subwoofers (I then and randomly discovered the necessary speakers in the plug-in electrical store in St. Nad Labem). The two Svazarm kits, amplifier and loudspeaker, lasted about 15 years, I didn’t get anything modern from Vienna. In the end, the new sound wasn’t so good. Pon it caused the magic of Hifi Smeek.

Rudolf ejka: I had a grammar in dev
I picked up a link in Ternm Metro. I felt a lot of nostalgia, because I was a customer of the HiFi Club store. I bought a gram there in nine SG 40 and later also a Shure M 91 GD, which I use, of course in a modern turntable, to this day. Just for the sake of interest, mm bound 5 pages of the magazine Hudba a zvuk, published by HiFi klub. Bohuel had to end his activities after criticizing the quality of Soviet cassettes. Today I use speakers built according to this magazine. I’m glad I’m not the one who remembers these times.
Milan M. Kuna: Setkvn s Jim ernm
I was a member of the Electroacoustics Club, so I could stand in the Smekch queue for Shure turntables, rape and so on. Mm star Transiwat and turntable, ten m 16, 33 and 45 ot. Jirka ern was with me in the Club, where we mainly drank records. They were tk, but also beautiful times.
Roman Houda (Rumburk): I shook Panasonic, I had a sheet metal sound
So I went there. From Electronics I had, among other things, a studio mixer, 2x amplifiers TW 120, speakers (they sold as a kit). That sound was nothing at the time. In addition, Teslck palm chassis for NAD. That was in the 80’s. I then bought the equipment from Panasonic, brought it home, assembled it ceremoniously, and I immediately had to shake it. Such sheet metal sound, no horror. To this day, the TW 140 Studio amplifies the nostalgia and the old good boxes. I don’t both use it, I replaced it with a soundbar, but I don’t want it at home and I don’t want to get rid of it. To be precise: one tpsm speaker (kit) then went to 1100 Ks, Tesla NC470 chassis to 1600 Ks, TW140 amplifier to 3200 Ks, TW 44 Junior to 2500 Ks.

Milan ulc (Jihlava): It was an island of positive deviation
I also shopped in the store as a young man. At that time, I was a member of the 602.ZO Svazarmu Electroacoustics Club. I don’t remember exactly how it was connected with the Hi-Fi club. I think the club also released records. It was at that time a combination of quality technology and good music (another source of recordings was the Supraphon Gramophone Club). High fidelity stereo. There are arrests m discography. I remember that turntables, amplifiers, speakers, cables, I had everything from them. Star DIN connectors, don’t connect anything to it today. Mr. Janda was technically and probably organized in the dark. After the revolution, he founded the company AU / RA (Audio Rational), from which he has a line-up that he still plays today. There are cinches. Very clever people, it was a nice island of positive deviation.
Ji turma: Majlant
Transwatt, turntable and other mm at home and still work. Just like a student, I gave about a magnifying glass and a tuner in the sum of about 15,000 pcs. I have it at home.
Mra Ke: I didn’t need confirmation
I read an article about the electronics store in Smeky and it does not fully correspond to my experience. I bought the Zesilova Transiwatt 140, or its kit, in that shop sometime in 1988, as well as switches and speakers for loudspeakers. And I didn’t have to go to the national team in Svazarm (even though I was only an active aircraft model then). Amplifiers and speakers still serve me at home.
Ludk Hornk: I was confirmed by a colleague
J confirmed the dog got an old colleague from Mr. Dill Center at work, who had a husband in Svazarm. Pra was when I threw it from Vclavek to the subway at the Museum. At that time, it was not possible to go on subway tickets, the crown went to the turnstile. Between them and the station of the surveillance station was a space for corks, where the crown was thrown into the cassette. This is where I go, one box in each hand and a box with amplifier. When I saw the supervision like this, how I could fish the crown, she blinked at me, and I went unpaid. I really had to look desperate.
The amplifier is of course in the electronic sky, but the boxes mm still, although I rarely use them. There is no time to sit in the chair with a book and play good music. I have to go hidden mine A collection of vouchers dated January 26, 1984 and a thin dated March 14, 1984. The price of the amplifier was 2950 pcs and boxes 2400 pcs. Perhaps you sweat this information, as I sweated in the link.
Radovan Faistl: It’s a pity
As a student in 1976 (I don’t know exactly), I bought a turntable about SG60 there, I spent a substantial amount of money from the brigda’s blanks, without cover there was about 1460 pcs, equipped with a SHURE M75 foam. After the overhaul, the van works, in a different box, with another foam (Ortofon), mm to AV Onkyo. My cousin had an SG40 from there, amplifying the TRANSWATT and the speakers, I don’t know where it ended, it played loud this time.
Vladimr Ekrt: Add or have delivered
Patm k tm, who had from the HI-FI club gramo, Transiwatt and boxes. But if it was just a laziness dog in Svazarm, I don’t remember. But what I had to do was have everything to do or let go. Box and cover made of plexiglass, castle and Transiwatt. Tpsm’s speakers sold out with polystyrene moldings, which the hunter had to glue. Sometime 30 years ago, I sent them to honest devo and they still work today. Gramo me le pd, I peel on CD, I once sold Transiwatt.
Slezk: Thanks for the reminder
Yes, it’s nostalgia. I bought there tpsmov speakers in 1989, with adjustable correction, the bask was 30 cm in diameter. I would have them to this day, because the connector inputs were according to SN and therefore could not be connected to the rest of the EEC Provence. As long as I had AZS222, it was OK, but as soon as I bought the NAD 320..that I sold. I also longed for that Transiwatta, but they sold it to me in front of my nose and then I went to Litovel.
I can drive a two-way box at home. I only have one piece, stand in the kitchen on the line, don’t use it, it’s completely denied and I should probably sell it. I made music for her, but grammar and jokes were in the way. Now I have a SHAN speaker, but we have NC420 mm under.
Petr Ragan (Beclav): Strc played with Karel Gott
I am very rd someone who leaned memories of old and good hifi. I lived in Beclav and I often went to Smeek, on the one hand there lived a striker who was a musician, played with Karel Gott, so I had a free ticket (she worked for SD). And that was a huge plus, because the trip to Prague was expensive. It was then used by a Grundig combine harvester and a disc from the Sony TC377. It was also always a reason to go out, stand at the ditch, feed and roll on Smeky and pst oi dl. I can’t say that members of Svazarm had any privileges, I had a ticket to a radio club, it was under Svazarm, I never needed a card. I swallowed the kit, I amplified it then, in the magazine Hifi a sound the version of the amplifier Sinclair was modified, in the radio club we probably built it. In Smek, however, I was very interested in polystyrene bodies for the production of speakers. It was two pieces each to determine the type of speaker. That’s when I bought them, I made the switches and it was very nice for that time. I listened to the Austrian 3 on my knee-tuned FM tuner. This year I am edest and very fond of the good times.
Petr Chmelek: Because of the video, I got acquainted with the salesman
During the fifth year of your article, I remembered the gold of my billion (1951). In the store, I bought, for example, loudspeakers to be assembled, polystyrene moldings, umakart sides, two speakers and a crease and fabric on the front.
But the biggest mm, when I bought a Panasonic VHS video for 18,000 pcs at the time. I met the salesman, had her for coffee and the next day the video was mine. When he saw him, my friend wanted him too. So I went to the store again and wanted to buy the kind in the same way. After an advance payment, she also wanted a pension in advance, so that I could drink the next morning.
When I arrived at the store sign closed inventory drop I panicked, I tapped the talent but nothing. So my stableman and I spent a long time before feeding all day. At 18:00 she blew the salesman, video in hand. That’s how it turned out.
