Regional league HSC Hannover brings Emro Curic, but not Ilhan Kizilhan
Both had auditioned on Constantinstraße last summer, and for one of them the second attempt was worth it. HSC Hannover strengthens its offensive with Emro Curic. The 21-year-old attacker was trained as a youth player at Arminia Bielefeld and VfL Osnabrück, played in the men’s division for six months at SC Paderborn II until last summer and was then without a club.

Last but not least, Curic convinced the new HSC trainer Vural Tasdelen during his 45-minute game in the test against Heeßeler SV (6:2), in which he scored two goals. “He’s a beefy, robust and dynamic type of player, with a lot of assertiveness, someone who can get the ball in front,” says Tasdelen about the attacker, who will initially be allowed to show up at Constantinstraße until the summer.
Ilhan Kizilhan’s story is different: HSC decided against signing the 19-year-old central defender, who was a member of the Eintracht Braunschweig U19s before tearing his cruciate ligament in his knee. “You just noticed with him that he still needs time after his injury,” says Tasdelen. “He did a good job, would certainly fit in well in terms of character, but he just needs match practice to find his old form again.
And the HSC cannot offer him that – at least in the short term. Especially since Tasdelen’s team will need players in the relegation round of the Regionalliga Nord who can help immediately.
