The windstorm is raging in Hungary, but for how long?
Which station “was not (at least) 100” cannot be included in the TOP 10 – and 127 km / h measured on János Hill is a new Budapest wind record based on preliminary data, the OMSZ points out. This is equivalent to a gust of wind.
The wind is only slowing down very strongly, a stormy gust is expected even in the evening the service wrote back on Sunday afternoon. It is expected to moderate markedly in the second half of the night.
In the video of the OMSZ on Sunday afternoon, meteorologist Imre Vaszkó reminded that the Malik storm clone was raging in Hungary as well. The wind is projected to recede from late evening because of the cyclone. On Monday, the fronts of another (weakening) cyclone will hit us, and frontal crossings will be almost commonplace in the week ahead.
Another cyclone will arrive tomorrow, albeit in a weaker design.
