Young Republicans in New York are proud to support Viktor Orbán
The Club of Young Republicans in New York is proud to support the election of Viktor Orbán as Prime Minister of Hungary, he said.
“The Club of Young Republicans in New York is proud to support Viktor Orbán as Prime Minister of Hungary. Orbán was prime minister between 1998 and 2002, and the leader of the opposition in 2002 and 2010, and the second prime minister began in 2010. During his political career, Orbán was a great defender of Western civilization and the rights of the family. Orbán persistently defended the people of Hungary and defended the sovereignty of the nation against globalist intervention.
Orbán is now preparing for another term as prime minister, so that he can continue to be a common success of the Hungarians, respecting and supporting the traditional civil rights of individuals. Orbán Hungary has worked so far to preserve national self-sufficiency, national sovereignty, family-centered policy, full employment and cultural heritage. Many politicians talk about these issues, but Orbán also acts. His government was particularly strong during the European migrant crisis of 2015 and subsequent reforms to curb illegal immigration; he built an effective wall along the border of Hungary that all Hungarians can be proud of. He overtook the eviction of Hungary from the Central European University planned by György Soros, ending the toxic institution that incited hatred against Western civilization among Hungarian youth.
This is the first international support the club has made, but it is natural. The Club has a long history of supporting the Hungarians during the communist rule and remained a friend of Hungary even after the liberation from communist tyranny. The Club previously provided for the Hungarian Aid Program and offered refugee youth the opportunity to study at an accredited American college or university in the United States. In 1958, the Club also condemned the brutal murder of Imre Nagy and General Pál Maleter by the Soviet Union.
Today, both the United States and European countries such as Hungary are facing an existential crisis. The failed leadership and ideology of the ruling elite and the political system eroded the meaning and purpose of citizenship. For those who ensure this ideology and the preservation of Western civilization, it is essential for all Western countries to stand side by side as national communities. The Club of Young Republicans in New York is thus urging all Hungarian voters to help preserve Western civilization by re-electing Viktor Orbán. ”
