A 22-year-old young woman went through hell while carpooling between Toulouse (Haute-Garonne) and Clermont-Ferrand (Puy-de-Dôme), Tuesday January 18. According to information given by France Bleu, she claims to have been the victim of a violation while traveling with an 18-year-old young man. The driver of the vehicle would have deviated from the route initially planned to stop in the town of Vigeois (Corrèze), located not far from Brive-la-Gaillarde. He would then have sexually assaulted her before leaving on the spot. According to our colleagues from The mountain, the young woman, a student, managed to warn the police by joining a hamlet located not far from there.

The alleged attacker was then identified and arrested this Thursday, January 20, in a village located not far from Agen (Lot-et-Garonne). Already known to justice, he was placed in police custody. The Bive-la-Gaillarde prosecutor’s office is seized of the file.

always according to The mountain, the suspect was presented this Saturday, January 22, at the end of the afternoon, to an examining magistrate of the criminal center of Limoges (Haute-Vienne), before being the subject of an indictment. The young man was remanded in custody.
