– Now we can finally welcome the sailors back. The agreement is important in the tough fight against international streaming services, says top manager of TV 2, Olav T. Sandnes.

The agreement means that 550,000 Telenor customers get the TV channel back on their screens, write TV 2 and Telenor in a joint press release.

For months, there has been a conflict between the TV channel and Telenor over what the latter must pay in order to be able to offer TV 2 to T-we customers.

– We want to thank all our customers for their patience. We entered into negotiations with a desire for a long-term collaboration with TV 2, where we invest more in Norwegian quality content.

This is what Telenor’s TV manager, Camilla Amundsen, says in the press release.

Olav T. Sandnes says that they are happy that they have reached an agreement on a long-term and future-oriented agreement.

All Telenor customers will have access to the TV 2 Play streaming service as part of the new agreement. It will happen during the year.
