Hospital admissions increased by 13.1 percent compared to the previous week.
There are currently a total of 667 people in intensive care in the hospitals. The utilization of the intensive care units is currently 76.70 percent. 28.20 percent of the available beds are occupied by Covid-19 patients.
In the past two weeks, 4,192.72 work-confirmed coronavirus infections were reported per 100,000 inhabitants. The reproduction number R, which indicates how many people an infected person infects on average, was 1.11 about ten days ago.
68.00 percent of the population in Switzerland are now fully vaccinated. Another 1.70 percent received a first dose. Of the population aged 12 and over, 77.37 percent are vaccinated.
