Feeling good in the company in which you work and having a privileged relationship with your employer is the dream of every employee. And this is the case of Maxime Bourgeois, hairdresser who did not hesitate to change department to follow Hervé. This renowned hairdresser with whom Maxime worked in Toulouse wanted to sell his pieces to be closer to his family and create, in Mazères, a new salon, In the name of the father.
But above all, for Maxime, hairdressing is a passion. Born in Châteauroux, he grew up in Loir-et-Cher in Lamotte-Beuvron. “Already very small, explains Maxime, I knew the job I was going to do, a passion that I had from my earliest childhood. When I was a child, my mother had a box with brushes and scrunchies, I I loved hairdressing her, I told her: “One day, I will be a hairdresser.”” As a teenager, Maxime will pass his CAP in hairdressing, followed by his BP in hairdressing with a barber option. At 18, he left the region to visit his brother who lives in Toulouse, but also to find work. At the time he met Hervé, applied and was hired immediately.
But in 2021, his boss decides to sell the shares of his company. “To bring me closer to rurality”, explains Hervé. For Maxime, there is no doubt: he resigns and also asks his girlfriend to resign, to come and live in Mazères and thus continue the adventure with Hervé. “I was with a human person, who created a family concept in Mazères. I wanted to follow him in this new adventure.”
Since the opening of this salon, Maxime has been 100% involved. His experience of more than ten years in hairdressing also allowed him to know some well-known heads as an actor, as well as personalities from the Toulouse stadium. He is very appreciated by his customers thanks to a speciality, the white gradation which he achieves marvelously.
Maxime also has a particularity, thanks all the customers who have put vouchers on the networks, by performing a few dance steps that he records in scenic videos posted on Instagram. “I like to shake my paw, it’s a way for me to thank my satisfied customers.”
Wishing to invest himself fully in this company to satisfy his employer, Maxime will also accompany Hervé to recreate a hairdressing school and highlight his gifts as a master barber.
