French Riviera and Monegasque startups shine at CES 2022 – Pages Monaco
After a year 2021 rich in awards at major international tech events (VivaTech 2021, Cannes Film Festival 2021, Southwest 2021, Hanover Fair, CES 2021), the startups and innovative solutions supported by the Village Francophone Côte d’ Azur Monaco, once again distinguished themselves during the first French-speaking competition of 2022. From January 5 to 7, 2022, live from Las Vegas, the startups supported by the Francophone Village Côte d’Azur Monaco won 5 of the 24 medals distributed by the Francophone Village of CES 2022, as part of the eight competitions for innovative solutions.

Contest “The best #TechForLife solutions”
A startup, alumni of MonacoTech, is positioned on the podium of the competition for the best solutions for a smarter life and health:
- 🥇 Surgisafe, winner of the #HealthTech and #TechForLife awards at Vivatech 2021, wins the gold medal with its smart surgical sensor to detect at low cost, in real time and without learning, the in vivo presence of cancerous tissue
Contest “The best #EdTech solutions”
A startup from Nice is positioned on the podium of the competition for the best solutions for smarter education:
- 🥇 Nanaba, wins the gold medal with its mobile application that has paused cell phones and tablets in exchange for reviews.
Contest “The best #TechForCity solutions”
Two Monegasque start-ups, supported by MonacoTech, are positioned on the podium of the competition for the best solutions for cities and smart mobility:
- 🥇 FGWRS (Firmus Gray Water Recycling System), winner of the #SmartBuilding award at Vivatech 2021 and the #TechForIndustry award at the Hannover Fair, wins the gold medal with its solution for recycling our gray water (this water represents more than 50% of our daily water consumption)
- 🥈 Oghji, winner of the #SmartBuilding award at VivaTech 2021, wins the silver medal with the new generation of smart and connected electrical panel

A start-up from the Côte d’Azur is positioned on the podium of the competition for the best solutions for companies:
- 🥈 Firecell, winner of the #TechForIndustry award at the Hanover Fair and the #TechForBusiness award at VivaTech 2021, wins the silver medal with its solution for deploying 4G and 5G private networks for industry players
