Toulouse: TBS students stage a musical
On January 18, the Théâtre des Mazades in Toulouse hosts the musical “Croisette suspecte” written, directed, danced and sung by students from Toulouse Business School. Case to follow….
He is twenty years old and intends to work in culture. Marius Krabal, a master’s student at Toulouse Business School directed the musical “Croisette suspecte” presented on January 18 at the Mazades theater in Toulouse. “The story takes place at the Cannes Film Festival where a murder was committed,” he says. The festival director and the two investigators must find the culprit among five suspects before the closing film. Not easy”.
Marius has always liked festive atmospheres where nothing normally suggests the worst. And yet where the drama weaves its web with several protagonists, different profiles, all potential culprits.
“The culmination of ten months of hard work”
This theme, whose screenplay was written by Marius and six other students, was inspired by various films such as The City of Fear or SOS 117, “the atmosphere of detective stories always seduce the public. They know how to hold him in suspense”.
“A first” for this student delighted with this opportunity “thanks to the Arts Office of TBS, we can play and express ourselves. Staging a musical is an exceptional opportunity,” enthuses Marius, who plays one of the suspects. No less than twenty-seven people on stage, including seven actors, ten musicians and ten dancers, and no less than fifty people behind the scenes, make up this project: “It’s the culmination of ten months of hard work from writing to at rehearsals where the students are 100% invested. They did everything themselves, including the music, the dancing. Fortunately, some have hidden gifts. A musical with known rhythms in which everyone can be guilty. By dancing and singing.
At 8 p.m., Théâtre des Mazades, 19 avenue des Mazades. 0 531 229 800 Ticket office on site, also open to the public from outside.
